| Offset Printing Overview Our Ryobi 3404 DI combines the lightning speed of digital with the high quality of offset printing. This makes the DI one of today's most technically advanced printing presses available. It's specialty is producing short run, quick turnaround, full color offset printing. It does this by imaging printing plates directly from your files, right on the press. That is what DI (direct imaging) stands for. the pres uses waterless inks which deliver more consistent color, better color saturation and faster drying time than conventional offset ink. Direct imaging speeds up the print process and eliminates costly, time consuming steps. The press automatically images plates, registers process colors, monitors color levels and washes up. This enables us to provide you with high quality, cost effective, 4/C offset printing. The target run length ranges from 1,000 to 20,000 impressions. The sheet size is 12" x 18" and stock options range from 50# text to 20pt. board. For run lengths exceeding the digital threshhold, but are too small for a large offset press, the Ryobi DI is the perfect solution. |
